Hi, i’m Maarten Van Bavel, freelance motion designer based near Antwerp, Belgium. I studied film & animation at the RITCS institute in Brussels in the late 90’s and worked since 2000 for broadcast company Videohouse and MTV Networks before starting my own freelance company supertube in 2008. Yes, it’s named after the famous wave in South Africa.
My main focus is 2d & 3d design and animation, online editing and compositing for a variety of national and international clients in the advertising , broadcast and corporate industry.
Besides that, i’m just a normal dude with a great wife, happy kids, goofy dog and ever expanding surfboard collection. Hooray!
